My Story:

Born in 1545, John can trace his lineage back to the Norman invasion. His ancestors were given a small holding in Northumbria to farmstead, and his family held the land sucessfully ever since.

In the autumn of 1569, a brief rebellion was sparked in the border region with the goal of freeing Mary Stuart from her captors. The English March Wardens were charged with raising troops to put down the rebellion, and John was called to service. Using the confusion of the uprising, a Border Reiver by the name of Bourne, who held a long grudge against de Percy looted and burned his farmstead. Unfortunately, John's family was killed in the process. John returned home from the uprising and swore revenge.

A year went by, and the March Wardens set a Day of Truce to discuss some of the ongoing disputes. John managed to track Bourne down and dispatched him with a single shot. Knowing that he violated the terms of the Truce Day, and that he would be branded an outlaw, John fled into the Cheviot Hills

Here, he was discovered by members of Clan Carn and taken in. He now stands proudly alongside his Clan brothers and sisters in battles across the land.
